3. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Warranty Policy removes or limits any rights a customer may have under South African consumer law.
Under the CPA, goods supplied to consumers carry an implied warranty of quality, and consumers may have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund in qualifying cases where goods do not meet the standards set by law.
4. Supplier or Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may also be sold with a supplier or manufacturer warranty.
Where a manufacturer warranty applies:
- the warranty period may differ from product to product
- the warranty terms will depend on the manufacturer or supplier
- the customer may need to follow the manufacturer’s claim process where required
5. What the Warranty Covers
Where applicable, a warranty may cover faults caused by manufacturing defects or product failure under normal intended use during the warranty period.
6. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
Unless required by law, warranties generally do not cover:
- accidental damage
- misuse or abuse
- neglect
- normal wear and tear
- power surges or electrical damage where applicable
- water or liquid damage unless the product is clearly rated for such use
- unauthorised repairs, tampering, or modifications
- damage caused by failure to follow product instructions
7. Warranty Claim Process
To request a warranty assessment, the customer should contact us with:
- full name
- order number
- product name
- description of the issue
- photos or video where relevant
We may ask the customer to return the item for inspection before a claim is approved.
8. Assessment and Outcome
Once the product has been assessed, the outcome may include:
- repair
- replacement
- refund
- rejection of the claim if the product fault is not covered
Any decision will remain subject to the customer’s rights under the CPA.
9. Return Costs for Warranty Claims
Where a valid product fault is confirmed, we may cover or arrange reasonable return shipping.
If no covered fault is found, return shipping or handling charges may apply.
